Terrapin Technologies is a privately held company located in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Launched in the early 90’s as an advisory service to insurance companies, Terrapin became a provider of comprehensive solutions for broker-dealers. Terrapin has an unparalleled track record of aggregating, processing, and managing client data.

We Love Clean Data
We help our clients maintain reliable data. During the first phase of implementation, we make sure the data is clean. Then we use powerful data aggregation tools to combine numerous data sources (e.g. Pershing, DTCC, DST, etc.) into Pandia.
Post implementation, we curate the ongoing aggregation activities overseeing and maintaining our client’s data. Clean data means accurate commission payouts, up-to-date reporting, timely compliance flags and accurate customer balances.
We do not outsource any of our system development (designing or programming). We utilize the latest best practices in agile development and we have a robust and thorough change control process. It’s all done by Terrapin employees – the same people with years of experience supporting broker-dealer data operations.

Robert is Director of Operations at Terrapin Technologies supervising numerous aspects of company management and is responsible for day-to-day operations as well as the company’s financial health. His experience working in other corporate environments, his background as a Certified Financial Planner, and his focus on structure and organization have helped Terrapin stay focused on its goals and strategic vision. In his personal time, Bob enjoys time in nature and time with his wife and kids. And as a life long musician, learning to play new instruments is a recurring theme in life.

Steve oversees our development process. He is in charge of the development and integration of modern technologies into our software and leads the R&D team. Steve has been defining and defending high quality standards and practices since 2004. Steve, a pinball enthusiast and music lover, enjoys building Legos with his son Miles.
Marketing Manager, since 2011
James is Marketing Manager at Terrapin Technologies with responsibility for marketing initiatives and corporate communications. He oversees digital marketing campaigns from ideation to execution and is recognized as a collaborative team player that motivates and inspires others. With his free time, James enjoys woodworking, playing board games with his kids, and going to concerts with his wife.

David heads the business development department. He partners with clients to design a better way to operate so they can focus more on strategic goals and instead of administrivia. David has been able to connect and serve people in a customer service capacity for over 20 years. David appreciates traveling with his wife and their young daughter and spending time with some of his family residing in Madison, WI.
