Terrapin Technologies is a privately held company located in Minneapolis, Minnesota. We Love Clean Data
We help our clients maintain reliable data. During the first phase of implementation, we make sure the data is clean. Then we use powerful data aggregation tools to combine numerous data sources (e.g. Pershing, DTCC, DST, etc.) into Pandia.
Post implementation, we curate the ongoing aggregation activities overseeing and maintaining our client’s data. Clean data means accurate commission payouts, up-to-date reporting, timely compliance flags and accurate customer balances.
We do not outsource any of our system development (designing or programming). We utilize the latest best practices in agile development and we have a robust and thorough change control process. It’s all done by Terrapin employees – the same people with years of experience supporting broker-dealer data operations.

President, since 1995
As co-founder and president, Kristefor oversees all aspects of company management, providing vision, strategy and leadership for the growing organization. Kristefor is actively involved in the technical direction of Terrapin, adding his creative insight to both internal and client projects, while also focusing on corporate strategy, finance, and creating an innovative and inviting culture. His personal interests include curling, playing the mandolin, and spending time with his family at Rainy Lake.
Gregg Leslie, CFP
VP Sales and Marketing, since 2016
Gregg is responsible for sales and marketing efforts to expand Terrapin’s client base and presence in the financial services industry. He brings over 20 years of senior sales experience with technology and software companies including Broadridge Financial Solutions, eMoney Advisor and Docupace. Gregg’s personal interests include family activities, exercise, music, golf and travel.
Systems Architect, since 1996
Chris’ role is to define and develop the overall technology infrastructure design. He is responsible for developing and supporting web applications, process analysis and redesign, database design and maintenance, compliance report development, and is lead technical analyst on client planning meetings. Chris is a die hard supporter of the Vikings and Wild. He also enjoys traveling and spending free time with his wife and two daughters.
Systems Architect, since 1997
John’s main role is the enhancement and maintenance of Terrapin’s data aggregation system. He specializes in the aggregation of commission and account data and plays a lead role in the technical implementation of our service for clients. John designs fully automated interfaces with financial providers, most recently Pershing Subscribe. Outside of work, John loves watching the Minnesota Wild and spending time with his wife and two daughters.
Software Engineer, since 2004
Steve oversees our development process. He is in charge of the development and integration of modern technologies into our software and leads the R&D team. Steve has been defining and defending high quality standards and practices since 2004. Steve, a pinball enthusiast and music lover, enjoys building Legos with his toddler son Miles.
Director of Client Operations, since 2009
Rachael is responsible for all of Terrapin’s client facing activities including support, consulting and process improvement. Additionally, Rachael oversees Terrapin’s financial operations and human resources leveraging her background in enterprise optimization and process improvement. Outside of work, Rachael enjoys traveling with her husband and two children and spends what remains of her free time as a culinary instructor and foodie.
Business Development Manager, since 2011
James manages the sales and marketing program, implementing business development initiatives. As part of the Client Operations team, James oversees projects, facilitates communication between the client and Terrapin, and gathers requirements for new feature requests. With his free time, James loves playing board games with his two young children and going to concerts with his wife.
